Welcome to our fundraising page!

About our Fundraisers: Glanford's music program tries to offer a variety of fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Some fundraisers benefit the program as a whole (as with our Cabaret event), while others benefit individual student accounts. Each Glanford music student has an individual account where their personal fundraising efforts are tracked. This allows students to earn money that can be used towards a variety of music related expenses such as an instrument rental, private lessons, reeds, music books or offsetting the costs of our Music Tours (Grade 6 students can start saving up for next year). Note that individual fundraising is optional.

Please make all fundraising cheques to “GMPA.”
Please use separate cheques for each fundraiser!

inal Coffee and Tea orders of this school year are due Monday October 15th, 2018 @ 12:00 pm

Coffee Orders: This fundraiser is organized through Level Ground Coffee, a local company committed to ethically traded, organic coffee. Students can fundraise each month of the school year with 100% of the profits going towards their student account. Each bag of coffee sold earns the student $3. Orders are due around the 15th of each month. The coffee order form, updated September 2017, is here and is also available in the band room.

Tea Orders: For December we are also trying out Tea. Level Ground offers packages of wonderful and flavourful loose leaf tea. These tea packages would make perfect stocking stuffers.  The Tea form is separate and can be found here.

Cabaret & Patisserie: March 13, 2018. This annual event started in 2006. The music is provided by our Glanford Band, Strings and Choir Students.  The evening also includes an Open-Mic Session, performances by Glanford Music Students in small ensembles. This event along with Raffle Ticket sales is the main general-revenue fundraiser for the year.

Bottle Return Fundraiser

No you don't have to worry about helping out with any Bottle Drives! But, the next time you are returning bottles for refund, consider taking them to a Bottle Depot location (4261 Glanford Ave, 655 Queens Ave, 3961 Quadra St.) and have the money go towards the music program at Glanford. Simply advise the cashiers at the beginning of your transaction that you are donating the bottles to the GMPA account.
